Swimming for our lives

7 - 8 SEPTEMBER 2024

HBF Stadium

Take The Plunge

Join The Perkins Plunge - Powered by Mineral Resources (MinRes). Sign up for a 12-hour, overnight, team relay swim to be held at HBF Stadium in the middle of winter to support medical research at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.

Medical research is the only way you can turn the tide on the diseases that are robbing us of the people we love.

By supporting WA’s best medical researchers beat the world’s toughest diseases, you are giving yourself and those you love the opportunity to live longer, healthier and better lives.

Like research, the Plunge will push you to the limits and beyond in the hope of funding life-saving discoveries that will change the course of cancer, heart disease, rare genetic diseases and more.

Get ready for a night of laps to support the labs!

Title Partner

Mineral Resources – THE POWER BEHIND THE PLUNGE

The Perkins Plunge powered by Mineral Resources (MinRes) is made possible by a long-standing partnership between the Perkins and MinRes. Long-term supporters of WA medical research into the diseases that most affect families, MinRes has made a significant contribution to cardiovascular research for over six years. The company has one of the largest teams in the Perkins annual charity bike ride, the Cancer 200–Ride for the Perkins and is a founding member of the Perkins Alliance – a group of organisations that have come together to provide support to offset event infrastructure costs.

MinRes is the title partner for the Perkins Plunge and we are thrilled to welcome them to the pool!
